All roads lead to (or from) London...

Most of our tours include independent stays in the "Forever Ancient Always New" wonderful city of London, usually a few nights before and after your chosen holiday. This helps with overcoming jet lag, while enjoying your visit, or re-visit, to one of the world's most exciting cities. All London stays include a good quality hotel, all transfers, London Travel Card and, in most cases, a west-end show and dinner. If it is just London you want, see pages 4-9 for hotels and lots of ideas for your stay.

Themes and destinations...

Gardens, Battlefields, Literary tours, castles in Scotland or a village in Wales, we have a range of ideas for you to choose from. Beyond the U.K. you could take a 1st class train to Paris and Switzerland, visit the French Riviera or Monet's Gardens, spend a week-end in the picture book city of Bruges or fly to Prague or Tuscany.

Our unique "Stay Awhile" tours offer 4 or 6 night stays in Britain's finest seaside resorts and holiday destinations along with time in London. With a minimum of packing and unpacking, day tours out from your hotel, some included, some optional, plus free time and lots of included meals, you have the recipe for a relaxed and happy holiday experience. Tremendous value - compare with any similar length holidays.

Our main operating partners in the U.K. are Crusader Holidays who, unlike many other touring companies, own and control their own fleet of modern touring coaches, and the eclectic Back Roads Touring Co. of England. On page 54 you can find out more about Back Roads and their imaginative routes around the back roads and byways of the U. K. We have also found another wonderful British touring company, Grassroots Tours, who operate the Scottish Castles and Ghosts tour, among others.

British Airways is our preferred airline to the U.K. and Europe and all air-inclusive packages include BA flights. You can start and end your holiday, British style! If you have your own airline of choice please let us know. BA have a cabin on their transatlantic flight called "World Traveller Plus" larger seats, more leg room, foot rests etc. See the tour price panels for the cost of upgrading to World Traveller Plus, or ask us at time of booking.
