It hardly seems credible but 2012 marks the 50th anniversary of the world’s greatest rock’n’roll band. Whether you’re a long-time follower, or newly come to the band and want to know and understand the history and tradition, this is the tour for you!

Our tour offers a great way to see parts of London you’d not otherwise get to; it’s sightseeing with a difference! London suburbs visited include Twickenham, Richmond and Ealing, Chelsea, central London and Soho. We discover the earliest roots of the band members and follow them through the early years. You’ll see Edith Grove, the first apartment shared by Brian, Mike and Keith, and also a number of their later solo ‘pads’; where Mick lived with Marianne, Bianca and Jerry, Keith with Anita and where Brian was ‘busted’. Locations for seminal events are explored; where Bill and Charlie were auditioned, where Mick first played at the Ealing Blues Club, the sites of the Crawdaddy Clubs, the Hyde Park gig, recording studios and management offices, locations for Mick’s film ‘Performance’ and their first gigs sites. You’ll see the location of their first recording sessions and hear the stories behind some of their most memorable songs like ‘19th Nervous Breakdown’, ‘Street Fighting Man’ and ‘I’m a Man’. See where Mick couldn’t always get what he wanted! You’ll see where famed publicity shots and album covers were taken and learn about the darker side to their history; the drug busts, the girlfriends, the deaths.

There are over 50 Stones-related sites on this fully-guided, comprehensive tour, including ‘Bill Wyman’s ‘Sticky Fingers’ restaurant with its unique and unsurpassed collection of memorabilia.

Throughout our day we make full use of our DVD and CD playing facilities to watch and listen to historic performances. And with an expert Rolling Stones guide to accompany you throughout, you can expect a memorable day of historical information and fun!

Queen still rule! Forty-years on from their foundation the band are being discovered by yet another generation and their popularity with original fans is undiminished.

Queen are a London band. Formed here, cut their teeth here, recorded their music here, played their seminal gigs here, lived, partied and in Freddie’s case, died here. Our memorable tour focuses on landmark sites and locations in the band’s history. Of all our tours, this one probably takes you through the prettiest and wealthiest of London’s neighbourhoods, and following their journey from college kids to ascending rock royalty’s throne. Fittingly, this takes us past a lot of London’s real royal sites like Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace.

You’ll see the university where the band was formed; the two studios where they most recorded; band member’s homes, including the house in Kensington where Freddie lived and died; their favourite pub where Freddie first met Brian and Roger; and visit famed gigs sites like ‘The Pheasantry’ on Kings Road, Hyde Park and The Royal Albert Hall. You‘ll also see locations where some of the great videos were shot and see the site of the last ever Queen performance.

This memorable day can have the perfect end by attending a performance of ‘We Will Rock You’ at London’s Dominion Theatre, where you’ll also discover a great Queen photographic exhibition.

Throughout our half-day tour we make full use of music, listening to historic performances. And with an expert Queen guide to accompany you throughout, you can expect a memorable experience of historical information and fun!

Pink Floyd were a band of two cities - the ancient, medieval university city of Cambridge, and the UK’s capital of London. Band members Syd Barrett, Roger Waters and David Gilmour were raised in Cambridge, and many of their Cambridge friends, including girlfriends, roadies and album cover designers Storm Thorgerson and ‘Po’ Powell, became part of the Pink Floyd extended creative family. In London they met up with Nick Mason and Rick Wright, while students, and here they forged the unique Pink Floyd sound against the backdrop of the late ‘60’s counter-culture and succeeding decades.

This great tour combines the two and gives you a chance to see one of England’s most attractive and historic cities and parts of London you’d otherwise not see, while exploring the Floyd’s heritage. In Cambridge you’ll see the early homes of Gilmour, Waters and Barrett, their schools and colleges, early gig sites and important reference points like ‘Granchester Meadows’ and Syd’s last home. You’ll also be getting a guided tour of the historic city and university! Then to London where, this afternoon, in neighbourhood such as Notting Hill Gate, Islington, Hampstead and Highgate, you’ll see such sites as the Floyd’s own Britannia Row studios, the school that provided the schoolkids choir on ‘The Wall’, the Regents Street Polytechnic where the band was formed, various band member’s London homes, the famed ‘Animals’ front cover location, ‘Ally Pally’ and UFO club sites, and Abbey Road recording studios!

During the day you get the full history of the band from your knowledgeable rock guide and, of course, a day listening to rare, obscure and well-known Floyd music.

Have those lyrics come alive and make the London connection. Over 100 iconic rock sites and locations enlivened with gossip, trivia and background information! This is a combination of both the morning and afternoon tours.

Our morning section covers Rock landmarks in bohemian Soho and the north London neighbourhoods of Camden Town, King’s Cross, Holloway and Islington.

In Soho and nearby ‘Tin Pan Alley’, Beatle fans can thrill at seeing Macca's Golden Disc covered office, the flat where he wrote 'Yesterday', their Saville theatre, the NEMS office, early club and gig sites, fan club offices, and the only flat shared by all Fab Four. Here, you’ll see clubs, pubs and studios where future rock ‘gods’ like Zep, the Stones, The Who, Pink Floyd, Queen and Hendrix first strutted their stuff and laid down songs that three-generations of rock fans have since toe-tapped, head-shook, shower-sung, or a fresh-air guitared to! Legendary names like UFO, Marquee, 100 Club, Roxy and Ronnie Scotts.

North of the city’s centre you’ll visit trendy Camden Town and Islington of Madness, and Brit-Pop; seeing the studios where Pink Floyd cut 'The Wall' and found their school-kids chorus; where Amy Winehouse ended her short and sad life; where the Clash made ‘London Calling’, and Queen ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. You’ll see where U2’s career got off to an inasuspicious start; where Hendrix burnt his first guitar. Add to these where Jimmy Page cut his first disc in the fateful home studio where Joe Meek (the ‘Telstar’ man) also killed his landlady. Gig sites and clubs include the legendary Klooks Kleek, the Rainbow, Roundhouse and Hope and Anchor.

Other sites covered on this fantabulous tour relate to the ‘British Invasion’ bands and progressive rockers. We commemorate the death of Jimi every year with a definitive tour of Hendrix’s London, and an evening gig featuring top tribute band, ‘Are You Experienced’ at the famed Troubadour Club.

Our tour visits a range of sites covering Jimi’s four-year history in London; from Zoot Money’s flat, his first port of call on landing in September 24th 1966, to the apartment where he died on September 18th 1970.

We include hotels and houses where Jimi lived, clubs where he played, recording studios he used, locations where lyrics where written, where he burned his first guitar, shop sites where he purchased his amazing clothes and personal instruments, and locations where album, PR and video shoots were taken.

During the day, you’ll learn all about Jimi’s times in London, the formation of the ‘Experience’, the politics, the drugs, the girlfriends, the music; and have it set in the context of the ‘swinging sixties’ of which he was so much apart. This fantastic full-day tour is a must for fans of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, the Who, Deep Purple, Queen, Hendrix, Fleetwood Mac, Marc Bolan, Clapton, Page, Thin Lizzy, the legendary Yardbirds and many, many more.

Just a short ride to the west of London lie some of the city’s prettiest neighbourhoods, sitting beside the rolling river Thames. Here we find the cradle of British rock ‘n’ roll and the locations used for dozens of rock videos, including all of the Beatle films and videos. As we take our ticket to ride through Ealing, Richmond, Twickenham, Barnes, Shepherds Bush, we visit near legendary sites where British Rock was nurtured; the Ealing Blues Club (southern versions of Liverpool’s Cavern Club); Richmond’s ‘Crawdaddy Club’, birthplace of the Stones; Eel Pie Island, where amongst others a young Eric Clapton learned his trade; and the Who’s ‘Mod’ club, ‘The Goldhawk’. We include lots of present and past stars’ homes, including those of Jagger, Townsend, members of Queen, and Deep Purple’s original communal house.You’ll visit famed recording studios and rehearsal rooms (including where ‘Deep Purple in Rock’ and ‘Tommy’ were rehearsed) and see where Marshall amps originated. We’ll visit the shrine to Marc Bolan beside the tree that took his life. Throughout our day we make full use of our DVD playing facilities to help recreate some famous scenes and be reminded of historic performances. Beatle fans will enjoy putting themselves in the picture at the historic home and gardens where the Fab Four shot the Paperback Writer/ Rain video (used on the Ed Sullivan show), where Ringo walked along the banks of the river Thames in ‘Hard Day’s Night’, and where the lads entered the famed, four front doors from ‘Help’. In all, we include approaching 100 top rock sites and, of course, fill you in on the history of the bands!
